Three weeks ago I moved into a new apartment. 700 square feet, nice and cozy, close to bayou and various shopping necessities. Also within sight of Torah Vachesed, a Sephardic shul run by Rabbi Yaghobian. Two most interesting Shabboses have been spent there now. We are coming up on Purim, for which my costume will be a mad (as in insane) chemist.
Here are some moving-in (and out) pictures.

Happy Purim!!
The first attempt at hamantashen was interesting. Here we see what happens when overly liquid raspberry jam is used as filling. Nonetheless, the chocolate and prune/nut hamantashen came out quite well.
Finally, the cat the lack of which is sorely felt.
